What a week!

Thursday, December 20th, 2007

For those of you who caught my blog last week, I was off to Barcelona for the weekend for some sightseeing and an attempt to do my Christmas shopping. The city was stunning with all its Christmas lights and the atmosphere was fantastic. For anyone interested in photography and design, then Barcelona is a city you have to visit in your lifetime. It's packed full of amazing architecture, most of which courtesy of the great designer Gaudi. It's such an inspirational place and you'll come back brimming full of creativity I promise you.
It was all systems go on my return, with a magazine to send off to the printers before Christmas. We're also proofing and putting the finishing touches to the latest Bookazine too- something for you guys to look forward to in the New Year.
Hope everyone is have a great week and getting into the Christmas spirit - not long to go now!

It's just three weeks until the big day and I can't wait for Christmas! We were thrilled to see Susi Lawson's portrayal of Father Christmas recently - it was so good we've chosen it as pick of the week. If you have any winter wonders we'd love to see them posted on the galleries.
Right now in the Photoshop Creative office, we're working hard to put together issue 31 in half the time we usually would - it's all worth it though as it means we get a week off to enjoy the festivities!
For those of you getting stuck into issue 29, please refer to the forum where there are some important files you may require - Some of you may have noticed there are a couple of missing files from the Issue 29 disc - you can get these from the forum: Click here for access
There you will also find the original butterfly sketch used on the cover of issue 28. Enjoy!
