Copyright and your Photoshop Creative web gallery

Monday, March 2nd, 2009

Hi guys,We’ve had a bit of trouble on the galleries lately, with people using other people’s images in their artwork. If you’re not quite sure about copyright, then here’s a quick run-down of how it works on the Photoshop creative site - Never use an image without permission from its owner / creator- If your image contains stock images, check that you are abiding by the stock site rules (often you will have to credit the artist / photographer)- Never use images from the internet / books / magazines that do not belong to you- If in doubt - don’t use it!Taking your own stock photos is easy-peasy and enables you to snap just what you’re looking for. This makes your work 100% original and also saves you a scary court case too! So get out there and photograph it yourself : )
