It’s the latest Adobe update
The latest update to Adobe’s Creative Cloud software is here, and Photoshop has had a few minor tweaks, plus a couple of awesome new tools.
As previously announced, Photoshop CC 2015.5 comes with a Content-Aware Crop tool to help make cropping even easier by filling in blank space with pixels already in the picture, using Photoshop’s famous Content-Aware technology. There are other cool new features too though, such as Select and Mask, which makes refining edges and cutting out hair even easier, and Face Aware Liquify which enables Photoshop to recognise a subject’s face in a picture for you to tweak and sculpt it. Match Font is now here too, a tool that asks Photoshop to recognise fonts from pictures, and find them in ToolKit.
The integration with Adobe Stock is even deeper than ever before, with the ability to search through thousands of pictures within Photoshop having been added. You can license and buy images straight through Photoshop now, and the CC apps have also seen an update. Capture CC now features pattern generation for Photoshop and Photoshop-compatible colour looks, Sketch has been updated with 3D touch capabilities and layering abilities, and Photoshop Fix now has transparency enhancements, face vignetting and even full-res asset access from Lightroom.
On top of all of this, the entire program has been improved speed-wise; the start-up menu by three times, the font menu by four times and downloading the actual application is now 65 times faster.
