Plugin is now compatible with Adobe Illustrator and InDesign for the first time
It’s good news for Shutterstock subscribers this week; the stock photo site’s plug-in is expanding to become available on even more Creative Cloud apps.
While you can already search within Photoshop through over 150,000,000 images, this new update to the Shutterstock plug-in enables Illustrator and InDesign users to do the same; Premiere Pro users can search over 8,000,000 video clips on the service, too. The Shutterstock plug-in makes for a more streamlined workflow, with access to the library without having to switch applications, but it also enables you to make edits to design previews before purchasing a license, making it great for getting inspiration or building a composition before you buy.
“As soon as we announced the Photoshop plugin last year, people started to ask us when we’d provide them the same service for other applications within the Adobe® suite,” said Jon Oringer, Founder and CEO of Shutterstock. “We’re pleased to bring together the images and video customers love into the tools they use every day.”
With the update to make Shutterstock available across Creative Cloud, this simple licensing can not only save you time and money, it means that you can spend your entire creative process within Creative Cloud.
