How to correct tungsten-tinted images in Photoshop

Here’s a quick tip for colour correcting your images back to normal using only one adjustment layer

Colour balancing is another photographic problem, especially when indoors. To offset this, head to the Color Balance adjustment (Cmd/Ctrl+B).

To offset an orange tint made by tungsten lighting, shift the Cyan/Red slider to the left and the Yellow/Blue slider to the right until your image looks like it was shot under daylight.

    This is very useful, especially for JPEGs. If you shot in RAW you can also adjust the white balance using the Tungsten preset in the raw editor.
