Chrome filter can be applied to the surface of a car, for example, to enhance details and add more drama to the composition
Duplicate the Background layer (Cmd/Ctrl+J) and then head to the Sketch filters and find Chrome.
Set Detail to 10 and Smoothness to 2 for something similar to this.
Hit OK and then change the blend mode to Screen and lower the layer’s Opacity to around 40%. This blends the Chrome filter with the surface of the car.
Add a layer mask and press Cmd/Ctrl+I to flip it from white to black.
Use the Brush tool set white and 0% Hardness to selectively paint over parts of the car to reveal subtle, metallic details.
