Sometimes when you need to crop an image to straighten, you don’t necessarily want to cut any edge detail off, or even risk making the image smaller.

The Straighten tool has a new Autofill Edges command, featured in the Tool Options panel along the bottom.

This tool is used by drawing a line across the horizon line (or an edge of a subject that should be level). With Autofill Edges ticked, Photoshop Elements expands the image to compensate for the loss of edge detail.
