Photoshop Elements doesn’t actually have a Curves adjustment, but instead has what’s called Color Curves
The Adjust Color Curves menu in Photoshop Elements is found under Enhance>Adjust Color.
Under Style, there are a handful of presets that can be used to increase contrast, darken highlights, or improve midtones.
If your image is too bright, lower the Adjust Highlights, Midtone Brightness and Adjust Shadows to bring the exposure to a normal brightness level.
Adjust Color Curves lets you control the entire dynamic range of an image to create perfect contrast and to give images that extra finishing touch.
