The Channel Mixer is a difficult adjustment to get the hang of, but it’s great for experimenting with different colour schemes in art such as this.

Before you apply the Channel Mixer adjustment, switch to CMYK colour mode from inside Image>Mode.

Then load up the Channel Mixer from Image>Adjustments.

Adapt the four sliders inside Source Channels and flick between Output Channels to change different parts of the image.

By shifting the various sliders under each channel option we can create variations on the colour scheme.
