Photoshop Tip: Crop subjects from the centre

The Crop tool helps to recompose an image and cut out excess space or distracting subjects. But it also helps to centre subjects quickly
With the Crop tool selected, place the cursor over the part of the subject that you want perfectly centred. Press the Alt/Opt key and then click and drag the cropping area outwards.
The Cropping border will move away from the subject, keeping the mid-point where you left it.
