Photoshop Tip: Hide Extras with the Type tool

Remove the black highlight around text when choosing font and colour in Photoshop

After hiding Extras, original colour can be seen

It can be a bit irritating when typing text onto a canvas and the chosen colour has been inverted inside a black highlight.

Press Cmd/Ctrl+H to hide Extras, which includes this black highlight, to reveal the original colour of the text.
