Photoshop Tip: Instant Infrared effect

Did you know that Photoshop’s Black & White adjustment has the Infrared effect all set up?

This is a great way to see what your image will like if shot with the traditional Infrared-style film.

Locate the Black & White adjustment layer from the Layer menu and cycle through the presets until you see Infrared.

If you see noise in areas such as sky, adapt the Blues and Cyans sliders to remove this image defect.
