Inspiration can strike at any time, but most of what we take in visually is forgotten about if it’s not recorded
Always carry a camera with you, even if that’s a low-res smart phone camera, or a bigger DSLR, and always take a photo of that thing that catches your eye.
Be it a landscape scene, an article in the newspaper, or something on a bigger scale like an event happening at the time, take a photo of it.
You might not realise it at the time, but it’s probably caught your eye for a reason, and on later reflection could spark an idea for a new piece of artwork or project.
