Shooting for Photoshop: Control depth of field blurring effects

Control aperture using ‘A’ mode, so there are no surprises with the background looking blurry in Photoshop

Consider that blurring can be added in Photoshop after taking an photo, but cannot be removed.

Setting your camera to f/11 or higher under aperture will keep the background as clear as possible.

This way gives you more flexibility, as blurring the background or objects can be done selectively in Photoshop post-shoot.
